The RAL quality association for plastic coverings and synthetic turf systems in outdoor sports facilities has become aware that the EU antitrust authority has carried out investigations into various companies in the synthetic turf market and the recycling industry. Member companies are also involved. We would like to emphasize that as a RAL quality association we are not only committed to the quality of our products, but also to fair competition and compliance with all legal regulations.

In doing so, we make sure that when we set out the quality and testing regulations, we want to meet the high quality standards of our products under transparent, equal conditions for everyone in order to protect the consumer and the environment.

This industry is a huge competitive focus for environmental, sustainability, recyclability requirements while taking into account the interests of athletes and consumers. Various interest groups are involved and very committed to the struggle for innovative solutions. As a result, conflicts arise that need to be resolved through constructive, fair exchanges.
